Until further notice: do {i}not{/i} tamper with the torches! Lighting them in the wrong order summons demons. The inscriptions on the pillars indicate the correct order, but {i}wait{/i} until we have confirmed the accuracy of our translations before proceeding.

I have made maps to the other tombs where there are similar structures. Let the same warning stay your hand there.

- Demons bound into the rock! How did the ancient dwarves manage it without mages? (Binding runes? Subtle properties of stonework? Investigate!)

- "Gangue" carved into walls. Could be translated from Old Dwarven as "Stone waste" or "Impure spirit-of-the-stone." Dwarven superstition, saw demons as "impure" spirits of rock?

- Study impossible with dormant demons. Ask Sephus and Urathus for help with binding.

추후 별도의 지시가 있을 때까지 명한다. 횃불을 쓸데없이 건드리지 말도록! 잘못된 순서로 불을 밝히는 경우 악마가 소환된단 말이다. 기둥에 새겨진 글귀로 올바른 순서를 유추할 수 있지만, 번역을 검수 완료할 때까지 기다리도록.

이와 흡사한 구조물이 있는 다른 무덤의 위치를 그린 지도를 제작해 두었다. 그곳에서도 이 지침을 똑같이 준수하도록.

- 암석에 악마를 속박해 두다니! 고대 드워프들이 어떻게 마법사 없이 그런 술수를 부린 걸까? (속박의 룬인가? 절묘한 석공 기법 덕분인가? 조사해야 한다!)

- 벽에 "맥석"이 아로새겨져 있다. 드워프 고어로 "암석 폐기물" 내지는 "불순한 돌의 영혼" 정도로 옮길 수 있다. 악마를 "불순한" 돌의 영혼으로 간주한 드워프 미신일까?

- 휴면 상태인 악마가 있어 이 이상의 연구가 불가능하다. 세퓨스와 유라투스에게 속박 의식을 도와달라고 해야겠다.

그래서 하는 말인데, 코릭스를 주의 깊게 살펴봐. 네 사촌은 여기 온 이후로 수상할 정도로 말수가 적어졌더군. 밤이 되면 감독관의 야영지를 벗어나는 게 눈에 띄기도 했고. 지금은 아무 말도 하지 말고, 다음에 녀석이 밤에 서성일 때 뒤를 밟아. 그런 다음 내게 보고해.
